hi, plex reaches the log in screen on my PS4, circle in a square, and my account name is underneath, at this point plex frezes. sfter a long wait sometimes the numer pad appears under the log in but the dual shock doesnt repdond on the plex screen, it works fine everywhere else

Volume Control on PS3
I cannot seem to find the volume control on the ps3 app while playing a movie. I have a headset plugged into the ps3 and its kinda blowing my ear drums up not being able to turn it down. When you play a movie in PHT you can control the volume seperate from your tv/pc settings.. is this not available on ps3 yet?

PSVR 360 video support works, needs improvement
I'm impressed. I was able to watch 360 videos on my plex server using the Sony Media Player app. Not perfect yet and many video formats not supported (by PSVR). It will be really great when I can use VR mode in PLEX app on PS4 to watch my 360 home videos that I store on the server. Especially if PLEX can optimize videos for PSVR

Alexa talks to PC server but not PS4
Hi all,
I've just started setting up Plex with Alexa and my PS4. I've got Alexa connecting to my PC which has the Plex server running on it. And i have a dot next to my PC, and Alexa happily plays films on my PC. Yet I've set up Plex app and signed in on PS4, if I ask Alexa to play a film on my PS4 the film starts playing on my PC. I guess I need to tell Plex something so it picks up the PS4. Help i have no idea!!

some files in my collection don't have sound when played through my PS4
just like the title says some of the titles just don't play audio on the Ps4, it's not muted and the shows work fine on both mobile and PC, I feel it's worth mentioning they have "Unknown—VORBIS Mono" listed as the audio format, they that are in .MKV format, and they don't want to be played on the windows 8 media player.

Why can't plex find my server on PS4
So plex wasn't having any issues with the PS4 app until today. It won't find our server and we made sure our modem setting were where they needed to be.I havnt had any issues like this before today. Could anyone help?

Buffering Report
I've attached the logs of me trying to watch an episode of Mad Men. The buffering started appearing after around 20-30 minutes and I decided to log the entire session so you can see if there are any patterns. It buffers a few times, then it plays smoothly for a minute or two and starts buffering, and so on throughout the episode.

Hard to say. I think it happens every time, and I think doing a power cycle of the PS4 makes it stop buffering for a while. When it starts buffering, the only thing that helps is to clear the PS4 cache. Restarting the App has no effectAre the problematic videos mostly MP4/M4V?

Plex not working on PS4 after 3.1.0 update
Hey all, it seems coincidentally after the PS4 app release on April 4th, I can no longer connect to my Plex Media server through my PS4. Friends who I have shared my library with can also no longer connect with their PS3 and PS4's
I am logged into the same account on both, I have my router forwarding to the right port as well.
Another thing to note, once I noticed it was not working through the PS4, I tried through my WDTV Live and it wasn't working. Turns out that somehow the 'Enable the DLNA server' flag got turned off . In addition, something seemed to clear all my shared library settings with my friends.
Also, the PS4 media player works fine (I assume it goes through DLNA)
Any help would be useful as it is pretty frustrating, thanks!

Plex Client on PS3 Has Suddenly Changed and No Longer Accesses My Library
Has something happened to the Plex client software for the PS3? I have been trying to listen to music this morning. My setup is this--library resides on a hard drive plugged into my Mac Pro, which runs the Plex Server software. I use a PS3 plugged into my network with a Plex client app, which usually displays a home menu full of media populated from my Mac Pro library. The PS3 plugs into an Onkyo receiver. Today, the "home screen" on the PS3 client app is now a "watch later" video (on a vimeo channel...which won't actually play for some reason...not that any of my channels have ever worked). But all my music and videos are not there. There doesn't appear to be any way get the Plex client to display the normal home screen, my media.
I pay my monthly fee. I love the idea of Plex, but I sure wish it worked better.

Does Plex & Playstation VR work yet?
I have some 3D movies that I would like to stream to my PS4, located on my desktop. I know the PS4/Playstation VR, with the latest 4.50 update allows you play 3D Blurays.
Can I somehow stream 3D Bluray movies that I downloading using Plex and the PSVR?

Crash CE-34878-0
This CE-34878-0 happens once every few episodes. Always when I am in the menu.
I know this is a playstation related problem, but I don't have any other games where this happens.
Already tried reinstalling but the problem persists.
Any suggestions ?

Subtitles Causing Stuttering in Plex app
Hi Team,
Picture the scene, i just downloaded the The Monkey King 3D, all 8.5 GBs of 1080p awesomeness. I started it playing, hit the 3D button on the TV, put on my glasses and turned up the 5.1 to divorce threatening levels. It was playing silky smooth and sounding fantastic
Then the narrator started talking and I realised the subtitles were off, no problem I thought and I switched them on (the file actually had 3 different options for English subs) the screen went black for a sec while it recombobulated itself with the subs only when it started playing again it was pausing every couple of seconds. I turned the subs off, silky smooth, back on, stuttering into unwatchable frustration.
As I mentioned there were 3 options for subs English PGS English VOBSUBS and another English PGS. They all did the same thing!
Is this a known bug? Is there a fix? Are you all judging me for being really excited to watch The Monkey King 3d?

Bug? A weird thing happened on the way to the settings menu...
PlayStation 3, interface works fine through all the browsing with no issues.
However, when I open up settings, and do any scrolling (up or down), the interface acts as if the 'down' or 'up' button is permanently pressed for as long as I'm in Plex, exit out back to the PS3 menu system no issue, return to plex same issue, until Plex is completely closed and restarted. You do not need to restart the PS3, only the Plex app to recover.
Again, I can scroll all day long in the browse section with no issues. It is only starts when 'settings' is opened up.
