Plex Pass and Plex for PS3

I've been enjoying Plex for a few years now - having it on my Mac is just brilliant - I remember when Front Row was given the Heave Ho by the Good Folk at Cupertino - I thought my world had come to an end, but little did I know what was around the corner. I'm a big Plex fan:-)
Just recently I bought an old Sony PS3 (to go with my old Sony Bravia!) and I googled to see if I can get Plex for my game station too. Now I don't want to seem like too much of a skin-flint here (UK English for tight-wad...) but I'd like to confirm the deal. I see I have to have a Plex Pass before I can download the app for my PS3, which I don't mind. But I don't think the Plex Pass is something I'm going to be interested in - I might be wrong, though. So let's say I buy a 1 month toe-dip - how does that affect my keeping the PS3 app assuming I don't continue with the Plex Pass after the first month?
